Baramulla : Two persons were killed and another one injured when a speeding bike collided head on with four wheeler commercial tata sumo on Handwara-Baramulla highway on Tuesday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said an accident took place at Tragpora Rafiabad between Sumo bearing registration number JKO59 0570 and motorcycle registration number JK15A 0164 in which two persons lost their lives on spot while one got seriously injured.
Reports said the injured was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors refered him Srinagar medical institution for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, a police officer confirmed this road mishap and identified both deceased as Ajaz Ahmad khan son of Manzoor Ahmad khan of Khamoha Rafiabad and Danish Nabi Sheikh son of Gh Nabi sheikh of Pathoosa Rafiabad, while the injured was identified as Adil Bhat son of Gh Mohd of Pathoosa.
The officer said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has set into motion
