Two militant associates of AGH, Hibz held in Kashmir’s Awantipur

Srinagar, May 22: Two militant associates of Ansar Gazwat Ul Hind and Hizb-Ul -Mujahideen militant outfits were held in the southern region of Kashmir on Friday.


Police in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads Awantipora Police arrested two Militant associates of proscribed outfit from Tral and Awantipora area who are involved in providing shelter, support, logistics and passing sensitive information to the militants of proscribed outfit AuGH and HM. The arrested Militant associates have been identified as Sayar Ahmad Shah from Tral and Tanseem @ Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh from Awantipora. Incriminating material has been recovered from both the arrested persons.


Case F.I.R number 46/2020 and 68/2020 stands registered against the said arrested persons in Police Station Tral and Police Station Awantipora respectively under relevant sections of the law the statement reads.
