Unauthorized absence: 6 employees found absent in NTPHC Wular lake Zurimanz Bandipora

Bandipora April 29:- The New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) Wular lake Zurimanz, in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district is facing absence of doctor regularly, making the patients suffer.

Locals while speaking with the media said that only one lady doctor is posted in NTPHC which forces patients to visit district hospital Bandipora for slightest toothache which is around 15 kms away from the village.

“The doctor who had been posted here from two years have even not visit single day to NTPHC, we don’t understand for what kind of service government is giving them salary, the poor peoples suffer regularly”, local resident said.

Meanwhile, Block Medical officer Bandipora while speaking with the media said that i tried to visit NTPHC but due to the road closure towards the village we can’t visit the NTPHC.

He assured that strict action will be taken to the employees who had been found absent from their duties.
