Sopore, 4th Dec 2023- The Ningli Army camp, Uplona Rashtriya Rifles, took a significant stride in fostering education and harmony by organizing an Inter School Quiz Competition at Govt Boys High School Jamia Qadim under the banner of Sadhbhavana. The event, held at 1200 HRS, brought together six schools, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and knowledge-sharing.
Students from schools, including Girls High School Ningli Bala, Higher Secondary School Hygam B, Govt Boys High School, and three other neighboring schools, showcased their intellectual prowess in rounds covering current affairs, sports, history, education sector, and general science. A distinguished panel of judges, comprising senior teachers and principals, meticulously evaluated the participants.
ADC Sopore Shabbir Ah Raina, the esteemed Chief Guest, graced the occasion and commended the initiative. He emphasized the crucial role of such events in promoting education and unity. The quiz, conducted at Govt Boys High School Jamia Qadim, drew an audience comprising the village Sarpanch, school students, and local residents. The competition’s success was attributed to the diligent efforts of the participating schools, the judging panel, and the organizing team from Ningli Army Camp of Uplona Rashtriya Rifles.
The positive impact of the event on the educational landscape of Kashmir was palpable, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and fostering collaborative learning. The competition concluded with the distribution of prizes, with the first and runner-up teams receiving accolades, and all participants recognized for their commendable efforts.
