Using toy gun, two held for looting Bank in Kupwara

SRINAGAR, July 21 : Two persons were arrested after they tried to loot Grameen bank by brandishing a toy pistol in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Oficial sources told Kashmir Despatch that two persons were arrested by police on Tuesday afternoon after they tried to loot Grameen bank at Nutnusa area of Kuowara by brandishing a toy pistol.

Sources informed Kashmir Despatch that alert cops foiled their attempt and arrested them with toy pistol.

Sources identified them as Javeed Ahmad Mir son of Rahim Mir and Ashiq Hussain Wani son of Mohmmad Ahsan Wani both residents of Kulangam.

A police officer also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch about the incident, added more details will be shared after investigating the incident.
