Usman Majid Urges J&K UT Administration to arrange special Transport to bring back Stranded J&K Residents.And also need to check Over Pricing, Black Marketing rampant in J&K.

Former Minister & Senior Leader JKAP Usman Majid has urged the J&K UT administration that all the residents of J&K including students, traders & labours who have been stuck at different places of the country should be bring back to their homeland.

     Usman said, the stranded residents are facing hardships due to lockdown.Most of them don't have money.The desperation to survive amid ongoing crisis is such that some of the labours have travelled hundreds of kilometers by foot, because they are struggling to survive.Thousands of  people including Ladies, old aged and childrens are  stranded at Pathankote & Lakhanpur entry points since so many days and are waiting desperately to enter their homeland.

Maximum of the stranded residents have completed their Quarantine period and have been tested negative But still they have have been put in those Quarantine centres without any logic, usman added.

 The Jk Govt. Should consider arranging special transport to bring these people back, Usman said,  added that all health protocols may be also followed while extending this facility.

Usman majid also showed serious concern regarding the black marketing & over pricing amid the COVID-19 scare.

 Majid said, the prices of essential commodities in J&K have skyrocketed due to hoarding & black marketing by traders, forcing people to pay double.The prices of vegetables have been doubled from the earlier prices.All this over pricing & black marketing is happening under the nose of administration as it goes almost unchecked.

Usman Majid urged the J&K Govt to carry out the opetations & take strict action against those involved in black marketing & over pricing amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Usman Majid said, ” This is obviously a time when all have to behave responsibly to protect our fellow citizens, & particularly those who are most vulnerable.I personally request traders to behave responsibly in the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 outbreak.
