Schools that violate government regulations will face consequences.

Bandipora, March 17—Chief education officer Bandipora Abdul Majeed Malik said on Friday that all the vacant posts in the education department will be filled soon in the district.


Speaking to Kashmir Despatch on the sidelines of a function in Astangoo, the CEO said that teachers who are deployed will return to their original place of posting after completing their deployment.


The officer also said that the department has received several complaints against private schools for charging hefty amounts for student admissions. “A committee has been formed and has been directed to submit their report within days.


The Education Department had already started an enrollment drive in 10 districts of Kashmir. “We expect more enrollments this year compared to last year,” he added. “The vacant posts in government schools will be filled soon across the district,” he added.
