Vehicle Collision Leaves Two Injured in Sonamarg

Sonamarg, Sep 10: Two individuals, including the driver of a vehicle, sustained injuries on Wednesday when their vehicle collided with another in the Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Reported said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09 2001 and a truck with registration number JK13D 6021 collided in Sonamarg.

They added that the impact left two labourers traveling in the Sumo injured. The injured were shifted to a local hospital for medical treatment, and one of them was later referred to SKIMS Soura after sustaining a head injury.

The injured have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad (27), while the other individual is yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, SHO of Police Station Sonamarg, Afaq Majid Wani, confirmed the incident, stating that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
