Normal life remained affected in Kashmir Valley for the 84th consecutive day on Sunday following abrogation of Article 370 but the weekly flea market in the heart of the summer capital Srinagar witnessed an unprecedented rush of shoppers as people from all over Kashmir Valley thronged the market.
According to Kashmir Despatch correspondent the market witnessed a huge rush of customers as hundreds of people thronged it for shopping clothes and other items for upcoming winter season in Kashmir valley.
However, most of the shops and other business establishments remained closed,Pre-paid phones services and Internet services are continue suspended across Kashmir valley since August 05.
Most of the top-level and second rung separatist politicians have been taken into custody while mainstream leaders including three former chief ministers Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have also been either detained or placed under house arrest.
