Violence against minorities in Tripura highly condemnable – CPI(M)

Date:

Srinagar, November 1: CPI (M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami Monday said the recent violence against minority community  in Tripura are unfortunate incidents which has once again created an atmosphere of hatred in the region.

Some communal elements  are fanning passions against the minority community in Tripura under the garb of communal violence in Bangladesh .  The Tripura BJP government is not doing any thing  against those, who are disturbing communal harmony  there.

The summoning of a known human rights activist from Kargil Sajjad Hussain Kargili by the police for a tweet on voilence against miniority  in Tripura is a glaring example of how the UT admininistration of Ladakh
wants to silence those who speak against the violence.

Ladakh Union Territory administration  must understand that by such acts genuine voices can’t be suppressed
