Appealing to people of Jammu and Kashmir, a senior National Conference (NC) leader and former Legislator from Shopian, Sheikh Mohammad Rafi, urged them to come forward to keep the communal forces, “and those who allied with these communal forces out in the upcoming parliamentary elections.”
Via a press release, he said, “In the state of J&K, for centuries or more before emancipation, nationalists of all the religious communities had stridently advocated for communal harmony. It went on for centuries and centuries together.”
Addressing to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he stated that last five years have been miserable for everyone. “Even the people who’re unemployed are miserable after these 5 years of Modi led BJP. However regrettable, this state of affairs is not really surprising,” he added.
“Say no to BJP and all their allies. We don’t deserve another 5 miserable years of BJP,” he stated.
