Weatherman predicts heavy rains, snow on Mar 22, 23

Srinagar, Mar 20 : The weatherman on Saturday predicted three-day wet spell across Jammu and Kashmir, saying that heavy rains and snowfall is expected on March 22 and 23, adding that there is possibility of disruption of surface and landslides at vulnerable places.

The five-day weather advisory issued by the Meteorological department (MeT) here, said that light rains would occur at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the MeT in its five-day weather advisory has said that there is possibility of heavy rains, snow in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday and Tuesday, adding that during the period, the surface traffic may get disrupted while there is possibility of landslides at vulnerable places also.

As the day temperature increased in Srinagar and other places today, the MeT spokesman said that it would plummet by some degrees in the next few days due to the fresh wet spell forecast—(KNO)
