Wife allegedly stabs man in Srinagar uptown

Srinagar, Mar 9 : A non-local man was seriously injured after his wife allegedly stabbed him with a knife in the Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar uptown.

The man identified as Rakesh Kumar son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Amritsar Punjab, presently staying in a rented house with his wife at Jawahar Nagar is undergoing treatment at SMHS Hospital and his condition is stated to be critical.

Medicos at the hospital confirmed to the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the victim has received multiple injuries in his chest due to knife attack and his condition is critical.

Reports said that the argument between the couple took an ugly shape and the wife allegedly stabbed the victim.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation. [KNT]
