Anantnag, July 05 : A woman was killed while her husband suffered injuries on Sunday in a road accident in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
An official told news agency— that a woman was killed while her husband was injured when they were traveling on a motorcycle and were hit by a tipper in the district.
They said that a tipper (JK13-6484) hit a motorcycle (JK03G-7099) in Danipawa area of the district, leaving a woman dead.
The deceased was identified as Nasreena Banoo, wife of Javid Ahmad Khan of Wangam area.
Officials said that her husband Javid Ahmad Khan, who was driving the motorcycle also got critically wounded in the accident and was shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.
