Windstorm uproots trees in Sangrama, traffic disrupted, Police on Job

Sopore, Jun 26 : Traffic on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road disrupted after two trees were uprooted due to strong winds at Sangrama Chowk in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said two trees were uprooted and fell on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway at Sangrama Chowk this evening resulting disruption of traffic from both sides.

Reports said a team of police are on job to restore traffic at earliest.

Pertinently, windstorm followed by rains hit with parts of Baramulla district this evening, however no loss of life or injury was reported.
