Woman dies to electric shock in Bandipora

Bandipora, June 01 : A 35-year old woman on Monday was electrocuted after she accidentally touched an electric wire at her home in north Kashmir’s Bandipora village.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 35-year old woman identified as Amina Begum wife of Bilal Ahmad Wagay resident of Hastinkhan sustained serious Injuries due to electric shock when she was working at her home and accidently she touched an electric live wire. However she was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

A police officer confirmed this incident to Kashmir Despatch said, a case of accidental death has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
