Woman injured in bear attack in Kokernag

Ananthnag, Sep 12 : A woman on Saturday was seriously injured after she was attacked by a bear in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a woman identified as Amina Bano wife of Abdul Ahad Wagay of Senzie Gadool was attacked and injured after a wild bear attacked her when she was at her orchard.

The injured woman was rushed to the nearby hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, police in this regard has registered a case and strated further investigation
