Woman quarantined after returning from Punjab

Srinagar, Mar 17, : Authorities in Kashmir are not taking chances as for as Coronavirus infection is concerned. Every suspect having travel history is being monitored and isolated.

An official told news agency that from past 3 days a woman is under observation at NTPHC Panzgam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. The woman had returned from Punjab recently.

The official identified the woman (name withheld) wife of Saifullah, a resident of Kachhama, Thrigam.” She is running with fever and heavy flu. She is under observation in an Isolation ward,” the official said.


Pertinentlt, several persons have been quarantined in Kashmir Valley reported KNT.
