Won’t allow militants to disturb peace: GOC Kilo Force

Srinagar, November 10: A top army officer on Tuesday said that won’t allow militants to strike which would disturb peace in Kashmir.


As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Kilo Force H S Sahai on the sidelines of football tournament final in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district said that at larger extend we have been able to maintain peace here. He said will not give any chance to the militants to disturb a peaceful environment.


The top army officer said that 40 to 45 foreign militants are in north Kashmir. He said the army is ready to tackle each and every situation along the line of control.
The GOC said that the army is well prepared to take on any security challenge to help citizens of the nation. He said the preparedness was excellent enough to take on any security challenge with the result this year hardly any infiltration took place.


While commenting on DDC polls, The top army officer appealed to the youth to come forward for the development of Kashmir. He said the youth has an important role. We want their cooperation in the development of J&K. Some people who have gone astray and picked up guns should come back and join the mainstream. He said we want elections to be peaceful so that people can exercise their democratic right peacefully.
