Baramulla : The Congress leader Advocate Sheikh Aamir Saturday said that his commitment to the party was non-negotiable and wouldn’t betray the party.

Aaamir said that he was contacted by several parties earlier also but commitment to the party is something holier.

The development came after Ghulam Nabi Azad floated his own party after resigning from the Congress party.

“I will always be with Congress as I believe that this is the only secular party that can lead India on a developmental path and work for the betterment of people. Our senior political leaders may have different ideologies for quitting the party but I am loyal to my party and i’ll be with them only,” Aamir added.
