Srinagar, August 11: In the Ongoing Wullar Gold Cup 2020, SFA Green defeated Iqra FC Dachigam By 4-3 in Penalties Played here in Wullar Sports Ground here on Tuesday, leg to book place in the semi final. The match went into tie-breaker.
During the Game, Both teams played aggressive football. In the Second half, SFA Green missed several scoring opportunities. In the alloted time, the SFA Green players tried their best to score, but failed to do so. When the final whistle blew the final score line didn’t alter 0-0 in favour of both the teams. In the first five penalties, SFA Green Scored 4 while as Iqra FC Dachigam Scored 3. In the Penalities, Goalkeeper Aqib Ahmad brought out some good saves and foiled their attempts to score penalities.
In the semifinal, SFA Green will next take on Badshah FC Nathpora, while Iqbal FC Will face Kulhama FC. People and sports lovers from Nook and corner of area witnessed the match and appreciated the efforts of the Organization for conducting the tournament. The Tournament is being organized by Bandipora Football Community in collaboration with National and International Football Forum J&K.
