Baramulla : While reacting on separatist leader Mohammad Yasin Malik who Tuesday pleaded guilty to all the charges including those under the stringent unlawful activities prevention act (UAPA) before a Delhi court union home minister of state for cooperation and development of north eastern region, BL Verma said people in India respect judiciary and they will accept any court decision.
Addressing media as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent on the sidelines of a function at Dak Banglow Baramulla the union minister said that his party respects judiciary and it’s decision.
He said whatever decison comes from court they will accept it.
Pertinently, the special judge Praveen Singh will hear on May 19 the arguments regarding the quantum of sentence for the offences levelled against Malik in which the maximum punishment is life imprisonment.
The union minister also assured the fishery community for providing them all possible support for their livelihood.
