Pulwama, Mar 06 : A youth was arrested during a nocturnal Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in South Kashmir’s Pulwama village.
According to wire service— officials said that the CASO launched during the night ended on Friday morning.
An official said that Cordon and Search Operation was launched in Monghama village of Pulwama district in dead of night after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area. Cordon ended peacefully at around 7 am in the morning, he said, adding that a youth was arrested during the operation.
He identified the arrested youth as Waseem Bashir Dar, son Of Bashir Ahmad Dar. A police official while conforming his arrest said that he has been arrested for questioning over having links with militants reported news agency KNO.
