Youth dies of allegedly drug overdose in Sopore

Sopore, Sep 13 : A 29-year-old youth on Sunday died due to allegedly drug overdose in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.

As per family sources the 29-year-old identified as Nameez Ahmad Yatoo of Yatoo Mohalla area of Nowpora Sopore who recently was discharged from rehabilitation centre was found at model town Sopore.

Source told Kashmir Despatch that the youth died due to allegedly drug overdose, however police said investigation in this regard has set into motion.

A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that police in verifying in all angles. A case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated officer added.
