Srinagar,August 18: A 24-year-old youth drowned to death in Nallah Reshinagri in South Shopian district on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch, a youth drowned to death while taking a bath in Nallah Reshnagri in Shopian district.
Though, locals present there tried to rescue him but it took over one hour to retrieve his body. He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
The deceased youth as Idrees Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Oyel Damhal area of Kulgam district.
Meanwhile, a case in this regard has been registered and further investigations are going on.
