Successive regimes have neglected Surankote: Sohail Malik

SURANKOTE, Aug 25: Various prominent youth of Surankote constituency including Sohail Malik, Ajaz Bukhari, sheikh zameer, Abass Malik, sheikh umer Adv Mahir Shah and others on Tuesday started a youth-elders reachout programme at Panchayat Draba of Surankote.
The interaction cum meeting at various places was held under the chairmanship of sarpanch Jameel Ahmed Khan, Muzamil Malik, Hafiz Ajaz and youth activist Ishtiyaq Malik, zulfiqar Ahmed, Akhroz Malik and other youth of the area.
“The programme is aimed at taking the first hand account of various issues of utmost public importance especially issues concerning the Youth of panchayat Draba. The issues faced by the public were discussed and a future roadmap was framed for the solution within the ambit of the constitution of India which guarantees a dignified and respectful life to every citizen with all rights and liberties,” said Sohail Malik.
While speaking on the occasion Malik laid stress on the importance of unity among the public and recalled the treatment meted out to the people by the successive regimes in J&K.
“Issues of health and hygiene, education, sainataion, roads, electricity, issuance of caste based certificates and domicile certificate, various scheme run by the union government for the benefits of general public, drug addiction, were also discussed,” he added.
Srapanch Jameel Khan has assured full support to the youth and also highlighted the importance of various kind of schemes under PRI, Muzamil Malik, Hafiz Ajaz and Ishtiyaq Malik also shed light on many important issues of concurring the youth-public of area.
At the end of the meeting entire Youth of the Draba and other places of tehsil Surankote present in the meeting have pledged to work for a postive change in ending various kind of discriminations faced by general public in the area.
Ishtiyaq Malik has delivered the final vote of thanks on this occasion.
