Baramulla : A 25-year-old youth was killed in a road accident after being hit by a unknown speedy vehicle on Monday evening in north Kashmir’s Baramulla village.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said the victim was hit by an unknown four wheeler passenger vehicle (Taveera ) on Srinagar-Baramulla national highway at Delina on Monday evening.
However, he was immediately taken to nearby hospital where from he was referred to district hospital Baramulla where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Saleem Javid Mir son of Javid Ahmad Mir of Delina.
Meanwhile, police in this regard has registered a case.
