Sopore : Muslim Conference Chairman Abdul Gani Bhat has led Eid al-Fitr prayers in the Botengoo village of sopore town in north kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan, during which Muslims fast from dawn until dusk.
Our Eid is one of peace entrenched with the values of civilised human coexistence and harmony, Gani said.
“Allah has called for all Muslims to adhere to those values and spread them in all nations and communities. he added that gun is not the solution for kashmir issue it needs only a positive dailogue between India and Pakistan.
He said that war like situation will always affect the economy of Kashmir, and will make future harm especially the youth,Professor Abdul Gani Bhat while addressing gathering on the EID occasion said that peace will only come in kashmir when people will cahnge their mentility and will change thinking power.
He said that both India and Pakistan should come together over lingering Kashmir dispute and come forth for its settlement. He added that world communities should also be serious over kashmir issue.
