Srinagar, September 28, : Security forces claimed to have killed three militants in an encounter that took place in the mountainous region of Gangabal, in Ganderbal district.
A police official told news agency that, a group of militants was intercepted by a patrol party of army, in upper reaches of block Naranag on Saturday, in which three militant was killed. The identity of the killed militants is ascertained by the police.
Forces also claimed to have recovered a big cache of arms and ammunition, which according to them was stored and hid under the ground in the dense forest area. (CNS)
