Srinagar, Dec 19 : A 12-year-old boy died in a freak accident while playing on a rope swing at his native village, Shalpora Hardushiva Sopore in north Kashmir’s baramulla district on Sunday.
Official sources told GNS that the boy— Hakim Ul Zaman (Aftab) son of Mohammad Majnoon Rather— got choked to death when the swing rope got entangled around his neck while he was playing with fellow children this afternoon.
The boy was immediately shifted to hospital but doctors declared him brought dead, they said. A police officer confirmed to GNS the freak accident.(GNS)
