25-year-old Youth goes missing in Sopore

Sopore, June 16: A 25-year-old youth has gone missing in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district since 06 June this month.


Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 25-year-old youth identified as Basit Hassan Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir of Changa Mohala Arampora area of Sopore has gone missing earlier this month from his home and after that didn’t return.


Family sources told Kashmir Despatch that Basit had left home on o6 June to Kupwara with vegetables and since then he didn’t return home.


A police officer told this newspaper that a missing complaint has been registered after a family seeks whereabouts of their kin. The officer said police have launched a manhunt to trace the missing youth.
