Kupwara ; Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar on Thursday said that sofar 26 foreigners have been killed in different anti-militancy operations in Kashmir valley.
The officer said this after the killing of three Pakistani militants in an encounter in north Kashmir’s Kupwara on Thursday morning.
In last 24 hours six Pakistani militants were killed in two separate gunfights in north Kashmir districts.
The top police officer said among the 26 foreigners 14 from JeM and 12 Lashkar-e-Toiba militants have been killed.
On Wednesday, three Pakistan militants of Jaish-e Muhammad militant outfit were killed in a chance encounter at Kreeri village of Baramulla.
