Water Crisis Hits Umerabad, Roseland In Outskirts Of Srinagar

Srinagar : Residents of Umerabad and Roseland areas in outskirts of Srinagar have complained of acute shortage of drinking water supply.

The residents told Kashmir Despatch over phone that the locality is without drinking water supply for past week.

They said due to maintenance work on inner link roads the water supply affected badly in the areas and authorities hardly bother to look into the crisis.

“In absence of water supply, we have to fetch water from adjoining areas in vehicles.

The residents, however appeal Chief Engineer Jal Sakti to look into the matter, sothat they ll get a sign of relief.
