Baramulla : Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three gamblers in the district.
In a statement police said, received reliable information regarding presence of gamblers at Fatehpora Baramulla jurisdiction of Police Station Baramulla, reacting on the information, Police Party of Police Station Baramulla rushed towards spot and arrested three gamblers from the said spots.
Playing cards alongwith stake money of ₹ 20,500/- were recovered from them.
A case under sections of 13 Gambling Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set into motion.
