A meeting was held at the office of the Deputy commissioner Baramulla wherein the recently elected representatives of Sopore media Association met the deputy commissioner Dr G. N Ittoo. The meeting was attended by President Sopore media association Shabir Dar, Secretary Bilal Bhat, Gen Secretary Abu Bakar and Spokesperson Muneeb ul Haq besides other office bearers.
In the meeting the representatives discussed a range of issues with DC Baramulla about the accommodation for association in Sopore town, availability of internet connection for the working journalists and restoration of now defunct Tehsil Information Office in the town.
Deputy commissioner Baramulla assured the elected representatives of full support to the association from the district and town administration.
The Sopore Media Association elected its representatives in the recently held elections in a democratic way.
