House gutted in Sopore fire mishap

Sopore Mar 30 : A two storey residential house was gutted in a fire mishap in north Kashmir’s Sopore village on early Monday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a house was completely gutted in an accidental fire at Raj-Mohalla B in Warpora Sopore this morning.

The house belonged to Bashir Ahmed War son of Ghulam Rasool War.

Reports said firefighters successfully contained the fire from spreading to other nearby houses but couldn’t save the two storey building.
However, the cause of fire was not known immediately.

Police are yet to estimate the loss of property that was destroyed in the fire mishap.
