Wear masks, Spend less time in markets : Sopore police to public

Sopore, July 28 : As authorities in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Monday announced three days relaxation for opening of shops, Sopore police appealed general public to spend less time in the markets and avoid large gathering.

In a message Sopore police appleaded general public to park their vehicles at given slots and wear masks, maintain social distancing and spend less time in the markets.

Meanwhile an order issued by ADC Sopore lies with Kashmir Despatch which reads, To ensure convenient movement of shoppers and other people during the period of relaxation i,e 28th , 29th and 30 July 2020, the following entry points leading to Sopore Town shall be closed for vehicular movement (with exceptions like medical emergency and official movement.

High land colony near ITI, Hanna Colony Arampora, Model Town D, Ahad Baba Chowk Noorbagh, Fruit Mandi, Amargrah Bypass. Shercolony.

During the above mentioned three days, the following mechanism for market operation will prevail from 7AM to 10 AM Operation of vendors,

10 A M to 11AM Cleaning of Market by M.C Workers, 11AM to 5PM Operation of Shopkeepers, 5PM to 8PM Operation of vendors.

The parking places of vehicles are as :

Bus Stand Sopore, Premises of Degree College Sopore expect Subhan Stadium, SRTC Yard, ITI Ground Bandipora Sopore Road.

Any violation of the order by anybody will invite penal action as per law the order copy reads.
