‘No Restriction on Expenditure for Leave Encashment’ Comes With a Rider

Srinagar, Sep 05: Lieutenant Governer-led administration in Jammu and Kashmir has announced ‘no restriction on expenditure provided the corresponding budget provision exists in BE 2020-21.’

An official handout in this regard, of which a copy lies with Kashmir Despatch, reads that the ‘Salary Arrears’ can be entertained if the provision exists in BE 2020-21 but uniformity of expenditure in this regard over remaining months of Fiscal Year 2020-21needs to be ensured.”

However, as per the statement, all the codal formalities shall be observed while booking the expenditure.

Meanwhile a copy of the notification has been forwarded to all the relevant authorities for due compliance.
