SSB man shots self dead in Handwara

Handwara, Oct 12 : A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel on Sunday night shot himself dead with his service rifle in Vilgam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An Official told Kashmir Despatch that an official identified Amit Kumar a resident of Utter Prades who was posted at 37 BN SSB Vilgam shot himself dead with his service rifle on Sunday night, however he was rushed to Handwara hospital where doctors declared him brought dead later.
Meanwhile, police have initiated proceedings in this regard and started further investigation.
