Forces launch search operation in Tangmerg village

Tangmerg, Oct 18 : Forces on Sunday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Tangmerg village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, CRPF 176 BN , SOG sealed Khaipora Payeen area of Tangmerg and conducted house to house searches in the area.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that following inputs about the presence of some militants operation was launched, he said searches are underway in the area.
