BARAMULLA, May 7: Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla Rayees Mohiuddin Bhat on Saturday said that the accused in Kakawthal Baramulla domestic violence case has been arrested.
Taking to microblogging site twitter, the SSP Baramulla said, “Who said they’re roaming free? FIR has been lodged exactly as per wishes of family, family already assured of strictest possible action on merits, and accused already arrested. Do not spread rumours and instigate please.”
Pertinently, a woman in her 30’s mother of two kids was seriously injured after she was beaten allegedly by her-in-laws in north Kashmir’s Kakawthal area. The victim of the domestic violence is presently battling for her life in an Intensive Care Unit in Kashmir’s tertiary care hospital SKIMS.
