Sep 12:* Sh. S.J.M Gillani-IPS, ADGP Armed J&K visited the Battalion Headquarters of IRP-20th Bn. stationed at APC Parihaspora.
ADGP Armed was received with a Guard of honour and inaugurated the Modular Kitchen, CO’s office and Recreation hall. Worthy ADGP also inspected 03 bedded MI room constructed by IRP-20th Bn.
IGP Armed Shri Vijay Kumar-IPS & Sh. Shabir Nawab, SSP APCR Kmr. accompanied ADGP Armed during his visit to APC Parihaspora. Shri Mohammad Zaid SSP, CO-IRP 9th Bn and Sh. Ghulam Jeelani-SSP, CO-IRP 3rd Bn were also present on the occasion.
Sh. Baqar Samoon-SSP CO-IRP-20th Bn. made a welcome address in which the achievements like infrastructure up-gradation, security review, future plans envisaged for the unit and other requirements were highlighted and discussed.
Worthy ADGP Armed also held interaction with the officials of the unit in which various problems and issues both personal as well as departmental were raised by the constabulary and mainly pertained to the welfare issues. Interactive session was hosted with an idea to provide immediate relief to the problems and their on spot redressal by worthy ADGP. A galaxy of officers also participated in the interactive session.
ADGP emphasized upon the officials to remain prepared for assignments and responsibilities which may be assigned to them in near future and also stressed upon them to promote Police Public relations and to take part willingly in other training courses conducted by the department from time to time.
ADGP highlighted the welfare measures being initiated by the department for its officers and jawans. He also took stock of all the developmental works and welfare measures taken for the officers and jawans of all the units stationed at APC Parihaspora.
Sh. Mohammad Zaid –SSP CO IRP 9th BN-presented the vote of thanks to ADGP Armed J&K and other senior officers for sparing precious time for visiting APC Parihaspora which encouraged the morale of the officers/men of the unit.
