Srinagar|Dec 07: After Dr Haseeb Drabu, two other Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) leaders Javaid Mustafa Mir and Basharat Bukhari are likely to quit PDP.

Sources disclosed to News Despatch that both Mir and Bukhari are ‘disgruntled’ with the party and may announce the decision very soon.

Earlier, former Jammu and Kashmir Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu had quit PDP on Thursday.

Addressing a presser here at her Gupkar residence, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti when asked about the spree of resignation threats from her party leaders as the elections neared she replied, “People come and go. We were very sorry to see Drabu quitting as he was brought with love and affection by party founder late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. I wish Drabu all the best.”

Saying that he was ‘upset’ with the party leadership, Drabu was ‘disgruntled’ ever since he was shown the door by thenMufti and removed from the Finance minister in a cabinet reshuffle in May this year. The party had dropped another of its senior leader, then Rural Development Minister Abdul Haq Khan.
