JKAP expresses solidarity with Matto, Abdullah families
SRINAGAR, March 30: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Dr Mohammad Ali Matto, a renowned doctor and brother-in-law of Dr Farooq Abdullah, who passed away here after a prolonged illness.
In a statement issued here, Bukhari expressed solidarity with both Matto and Abdullah families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. “Late Dr Matto was a through gentleman and an embodiment of nobility, self-respect and loveliness,” Bukhari observed, while offering heartfelt condolences on behalf of his own family and JKAP to Matto and Abdullah families.
He said Dr Matto’s demise has created a void in his social circles hard to be filled in times to come. “I extend my condolences and solidarity to the bereaved family especially Ms. Suriya Matto, wife of the deceased and Dr Nyla Ali Khan the daughter of Late Dr Matto and pray to God to give endurance to them to bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari remarked.
Recalling the incredible life of Late Dr Matto, the JKAP president said that the deceased was known for his compassion, understanding, and philanthropic activities. “The JKAP rank and file extends unity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and prays for peace to the departed soul. We also express heartfelt condolences to Dr Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, other relatives, friends and acquaintances of Late Dr Matoo,” read the condolence message issued by Bukhari.
