Another policeman tests positive in North Kashmir, toll 2

Srinagar, April 20: COVID-19 is not only disrupting the life of a common man but also pushing them towards the dark era.


A fresh episode where two policemen were reported positive for COVID-19 in a single day in the northern region of Kashmir on Sunday indicates this deadly virus is not leaving anyone alone.


An official told Kashmir Despatch, that on late Sunday a policeman of Bandipora village was among the three who tested positive for COVID-19 taking the total toll in the district to 84.


The official said a policeman from Gund-Qaisar village of Bandipora had physical contact with his relatives who were already tested positive COVID-19.


A health official while sharing more details about the COVID-19 policeman said, he was under scrutiny post his relatives were diagnosed victim for this deadly virus, the official said that we have already initiated the process of tracking down the people who may have came in close contact with the victim.


Earlier on Sunday, a cop from Baramulla village became a victim when he was reported positive for COVID-19.


This is a true indication that Coronavirus can be a part of any family so people should take every necessary measure seriously and should avoid visiting outdoors.
