Several hours operation ended on peaceful note in Behrampora

Srinagar, April 20 : Forces on Monday noon sealed Arampora area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Officials told Kashmir Despatch we have launched a cordon and search operation in Changa Mohalla of Sopore after receiving information about the presence of some militants in the area. Officer said this is a joint operation of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF.
Locals reports said, forces sealed all entry and exit points of the village and
conducted house to house search operation in the area.
However, there was no immediate report of any contact between search parties and hidding militants.
Earlier hours search operation ended on peaceful note in Behrampora village of Sopore.
Pertinently, Last week three CRPF men were killed, two injured in a militant attack at Ahadbab crossing in the town.
On Sunday Inspector general of CRPF Rajesh Yadev said that security agencies are working on some leads about those behind the Sopore attack, and very soon revenge will be taken.
