SRINAGAR: The Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh on Friday said that the anti militancy operation across the Kashmir will be intensified.

According to Kashmir Despatch DGP Dilbagh Singh made these remarks hours after militants attacked police deployment party at city outskirts Nowgam, wherein three policemen suffered injuries. However, among three injured policemen, two died, while another one is going under treatment.

As per Kashmir Despatch talking about the incident, DGP Dilbagh Singh said” For the smooth celebration of Independence Day, we had deployed security forces across the city and same was being done on city outskirts”

“However in an unfortunate incident militants attacked police deployment party on the city outskirts Nowgam during which three policemen suffered among which two attained martyrdom and another one suffered injuries

We all are aware about the situation in Kashmir these militants try to attack civilians and security forces, while they get success at many a times. However, security forces have tried to make situation better and they will keep trying in the near future as well.

And anti militancy operation in Kashmir will be intensified in coming days to maintain peace in the region. As Pakistan and its proxy don’t want peace to prevail in Kashmir as they are making hindrance for peace here in the region.

But we are hopeful that our efforts for strengthening the peace will prevail and continue. While we pay rich tributes to two policemen who were there on the duty so that Independence Day is celebrated peacefully.
