Army officer injured in cross border shelling in Rajouri

Rajouri, Oct 15 : A Junior Commissioned officer (JCO) of Army on Thursday morning was injured in a cross border shelling in Rajouri district of Jammu Divison.

Official details available with Kashmir Despatch, A JCO identified as Gopalan of 17 Madras was injured in a cross border shelling along the line of control (LOC) in Balakote sector of Poonch.

A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that an army officer was injured in cross border shelling and was rushed to MI hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
