Army organised Shopian Cricket tournament concludes

Shopian, Sep 16: Army in its untiring and unceasing efforts to integrate the local youth with the mainstream and to enhance the sporting culture in the valley, The Mega cricket tournament in Gadhi pora Shopian concluded.
The grueling tournament witnessed participation of 32 teams from Shopain district and Kulgam District. More than 250 youth took part in the competition besides the spectators, conducting and support staff.
The final was played between Gadipora and Kanjular in a 13 over match in which Kanjular son. The final match witnessed a massive turnout of public from Both Kulgam and Shopian district in general , prominent personalities from civil and district administration besides senior Army and Police officers.
The tournament was organised by 62 RR to promote youth development in sports.
