As Congress races ahead in Karnataka, Omar Abdullah’s cryptic swipe at BJP on J&K polls

Srinagar May 13 : As Congress is heading towards victory in Karnataka, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah said there is no way BJP will have the courage to allow Assembly elections to take place in Jammu and Kashmir any time soon.

The NC leader and former chief minister of J&K on his official twitter handle said that “Now there is no way BJP will have the courage to allow Assembly elections to take place in J&K any time soon’.

According to the latest trends on the Election Commission website, the Congress has won 55 of the 224 assembly seats in Karnataka so far and is leading in 80, while the BJP has won 22 and is ahead in 43.
